Sarah has had a passion for animals since she was very young. She was constantly bringing home any animal in need. She did FFA and 4-H in school, raising dogs, rabbits, and swine. She was a Vet Tech for 2 years but realized that was not quite what she wanted. She was eventually able to find her true passion in dog grooming.

Von loves all of the animals that he meets. He has always been willing to help any animal in need and always encourages Sarah with the many animals she brings home. Von is "dad" to five dogs, five cats, and eight chickens, so far.

Darla spent summers at her grandparents' ranch playing with all of the animals. She taught her own five kids to love animals while they were growing up. She recently quit her regular job in order to hang out with her daughter and play with all of the critters.

Krystal grew up loving on animals. She was a volunteer at the Humane Society for 8 years, beginning as soon as she was old enough to be allowed, dragging her parents with her. She is Dog CPR certified. Krystal is the dog mom to Xena the tripod, Ghost, and Lil Bit.

Anthony was raised in a family that bred rottweilers. He helped start a non-profit organization called The Sanctuary Project to find temporary homes for rescued animals. Before coming to Balboa's, he spent several years as a Vet Assistant.
